Seminars are held in the institution at an interval of 3 months wherein the students are required to present their own writings and deliver lecture on astrological analysis of an event. The objective is to sharpen their astrological insight and instil the guts of a proficient astrologer. For each participation 25 marks are earmarked. A total of 50 marks is allotted for 2 seminars in each course.
Every year annual convocation is held along with seminar attended by astrology luminaries of national and international fame. Students get immensely benefitted by attending the convocation. Attendance of students in annual convocation is compulsory. Those having life membership of the institute will have free entry to the convocation. For others, nominal expenses will be charged for incidentals. Attendance in convocation will fetch 100 marks for each student. If a student participates in lecture competition he will be credited with 100 marks extra. The students achieving position of merit in lecture competition will be specially awarded.
Performance of a student in seminar and convocation will be assessed according to the format enclosed.

It is a great pleasure to announce that under the auspices of the Institute of Vedic Culture for Public Welfare & KIA, Bagbazar, Kolkata, the 27th All Bengal Astrological Seminar will be held on Saturday, 28th January, 2017 and Sunday, 29th January, 2017 at Eastern Zonal Cultural Centre, Salt Lake, Kolkata- 700106.

For the people living in far flung areas in West Bengal and other states of India, Correspondence Course of diploma level is conducted, duration being 6 months. Study materials are provided to the student who can attend classes from time to time for doubt clearance.
At Ph.D level research is conducted under guidance of astrology wizard Mr. Gopal Bhattacharjee, Director and Principal of the Institute. After achieving Ph.D the astrologer will have free access to the digital journal of the institute to contribute articles on advanced astrology. He will also get opportunity for chamber practice.
